Actually, I made MOF of Fe "MIL-88B" but when I want to check XRD result from some reference, the XRD result of MIL-88B from one paper to another paper different but they said it is MIL-88B. if like that what should I do for make sure I success made the MIL88B? or if the method changes the MIL-88B's XRD is changing too? Thanks
The patterns are collected with the same wavelenght? This phase could have polymorphism, i.e. phases with the same chemical composition but different crystal structures, in general stable at different temperatures or pressures?
oh yes.. that XRD from paper different method one with another, or just different of solvent or temp, or ratio or time at autoclave but the product they said it is MIL-88B but with different patterns of MIL-88B but when I look the morphologies is different too. However, if I looked at another case like FeOF they use a different method and different precursor but the XRD patterns still same.
if you mean the same wavelength is the same angle "2teta" no, because they use different range for examples: they use 5-30, 5-25, 5-50 but when I match that with same line degree of angle the 2teta the patterns different..
addition to Marcella Bini answer, intensity of peaks depend on the sample preparation for XRD.
for Dundappa, Yes sure, but that's peak came from papers they said it is MIL 88B but one from another different like this graph I showed to you 3 diagram of XRD from 3 different paper and they all said it is MIL 88B but different
