I was made fef3 materials with n doped carbon and without n for sodium ion batteries but the performance of n doped sample always inferior than without n doped, not like in lithium ion case. I read someone‘s comment that nitrogen is too strong for sodium ion batteries and i need the reference for that explanation. Is somebody in here knowing the reference for explain why the nitrogen not good in sodium ion batteries?

The matter is that n-doped carbon has high catalytical activity with respect to an organic electrolyte.

And is there possibility for n doped carbon will makes the porous become more smaller than without n doping? Because if like that it will makes sodium ion insertion become more hard than without n doped sample. Like graphite case in sodium ion batteries. As we know that graphite is commercial anode for lithium ion batteries but not so suitable for sodium ion because of the distance of graphite layer so small and makes the bigger size of sodium ion hardly for insertion.
