Nemanja's answer above is correct-helminths as multicellular organisms are simple too large to be phagocytosed by PMN or macrophage. The classical anti-helminthic response are IgA or IgE antibodies with eosniphils as the effector of ADCC. In the case of helminths eosinophils degranulate onto the worm surface causing damage. IgE is particularly good at ADCC as it has two Fc receptors rather than the one of most Ig classes.
