with the increase in temperature there will be a possibility of decrease in crystallite size. This leads to blue shift in absorption spectra (i.e) shifting towards lower wavelength
As the temperature increases ,the shift of PL centered peak toward UV region may be due to the reduction in diameter of the particles. Also ,abundance and purity of particles may be another reason for the shift toward shorter wavelengths.
If the luminescence is from an electron in the trap (it may be the voids in the film), then the UV shift of the spectrum may be due to a change in the binding energy of an electron in voids, as the temperature increases . Similarly, PL of nanoparticles in voids also demonstrates UV shift, when we study the films doped by nanoparticles. This problem is partially discussed in my article:
