I have tried plate inhibitory assay for the identification of inhibitors. After adding one particular compound, the zone size was increasing three fold than control. What is the mechanism behind that?
Dear Pohl
Thank you for your reply
I will try other assays.
Other things to check :
-the enzyme concentration may be to big, then adding anything may dilute it and then increase activity.
-your product may have enhancing activity on enzyme
-product may affect diffusion of enzyme
Interesting.....seems like "hormesis" effect.....

Most of the articles (Green synthesis) mention that the functional groups were reduced and attached with the nanoparticles (FTIR analysis). Is it better delivery of a drug than nanocoating?

I had a crystal hit in a well with 0.1M HEPEs pH 7.5, 10%(w/v) PEG 4000, and 20%(w/v) isopropanol. Why is isopropanol in w/v here if it's just solvent? How do I recreate this well condition?
