Dear all,
Iam working in CFST column under cyclic loading in abaqus program, at the beginning of analysis all the mesh was fine, but at the end of the analysis there some deletion and stretching in the steel tube as shown in the figures . Please any one can advice me for this issue .
The results were also okay comparing to the experiment results

From the photo attached in the end of the analysis. the height of the mesh (h) is higher than the boundary (upper and lower) meshes, so It means that it reached the yield strength (plastic deformation) in some cycles of loading even if the last cycles do not show this.
