What could be the reason a solar cell gives the same curve under illumination condition as that under dark condition (attached photo)? It is a new solar simulator setup and the lamp is on and we can see its brightness but we are not sure of the power. We followed the suggested method to get an intensity of 1 sun but there are some technical issues that might suggest otherwise.
Could anyone help us solve this mystery assuming the lamp is giving the correct power, and/or assuming the lamp is not accurately set?

Try to measure the IV characteristics of Standard Solar Cell for example obtained from NREL, or measure the same for the known solar cell, so that you can verify whether the issue is with the solar cell or solar simulator.
