the lithium-ion batteries (graphite||LiCoO2) charge at 500mA to 4.2 V and pulse disharge at 3A (discharge 5S, then rest 10S )to 3V.
The curves (capcity retention vs.cycle number) is step -like. it's confused.
Can anybody tell me the intrinsic reason?

I would suspect something happening with the data acquisition, like at some point in time the computer is updating so taking longer to begin the next set of cycles, which then produces a step in your graph.
