I am trying to optimize electrospinning process parameters by using the Taguchi design to get nanofibers having smaller diameter size. the problem is when I am going to predict the value of diameter size by applying the optimum conditions the value is negative. I repeated the experiments to see if there was an error while conducting the experiments but I got the same results. It is impossible to obtain nanofibers with negative diameter size. How could I solve this problem? any suggestions?

Dear @amin shavandi, thank you for you answer. The problem is not if is it possible or not to obtain negative value regarding the signal to noise ratio. I am talking about the negative predictive value of the diameter size of the nanofibers which is not possible to be negative value. However, thank you for you answer and for the documents you shared they are also helpful.
Try to choose the appropriate Orthogonal Array (OA), i.e. single OA or multiple OA as per your experimentation.
Dear Sandeep Kumar, I work with 8 controllable factors at 3 levels each so the appropriate orthogonal arrays is L27 (3^8). I repeated the measurements and still I have negative predictive values.
try, choose the right relation of electrospinning process, is that lower is better, higher is better, it's depended on desired propertied you want also the relation between each parameters
