Someone deems doing things right where others to wrong. In this conflicting situation, what will be the determinants to perceive whose perception is beyond repugnant?
Perception is a rather complex thing. It is far more than just perceiving in an objective way. Perception depends on people's past, people's interpretation, people'e aspirations, People's preferences. I know from a friend in secondary school a couple of decades ago, who was afraid that his girlfriend might be pregnant. He told me that suddenly so many women with baby strollers were where he was. I think that not a single one more was there that usually, but his perception was different than earlier, when he just did not perceive them.......
I guess it's (perception) different from one person to another because humans are unique. I agree with Eberhard Weber. Different people have different experiences. Humans have the faculty of 'mind'..
and humans have the 'free will'. Indeed that shapes their 'worldview'.
A few of my colleagues think that, maintaining attendace sheet in university level should be mandatory on the other hand some opposes it. in this situation, how could i judge the right perception in between two groups.
People from diverse cultures operate out of different principles. As for taking attendance, a professor has the right to make that choice for his/her own class. Some teachers calculate a small margin of the overal grade into the students attendance. Others believe it is a students right to choose to benefit from going to, learning, and participating in a class that they paid for. Professors who operate in different ways believe students have other responsibilities. Neither is right nor wrong, they simply operate from different views.
