Recently I had conduct a series of refining process from degumming until deodorization. However, I found that the acid value for each process in refining process were the same. Meanwhile, saponification value, iodine value, peroxide value and p-anisidine value shown their changes throughout the refining process and explainable.

Is there any reason/s why the acid value remain unchanged after refining process?
