Most of the males don't know how to cook & how to feed themselves at home ! So they become mostly dependent to their mothers/wives/other ladies or they have to eat outside home which will be quite expansive and mostly unhealthy ! Even most of the professional cookers are male why most of the other males don't learn or rather ignore this vital task !?

Of course, most of males are not interested to learn cooking and waste their time in kitchen due to culture, for this case mother's prefer to teach their daughters instead of male.
I do most of the cooking in my family, as I trained as a chef, and in a strange reversal my son loves to cook and at 15 years is very good. My daughter has little interest so I am struggling to involve and teach her. But I will persevere as it is an important life skill that males and females need to learn.
It is a social phenomenon that is related to gender disparity. boys get an opportunity to go to school education, training skills development courses and inequality exists in the house in terms of food intra-household food distribution, etc. The women or girls take care of the cooking and all other household work. change the attitude of the people and society.
Some mothers do not teach their children, both boys and girls, how to cook, especially when their children are not interested in cooking. Therefore both girls and boys should be taught cooking, basic home economics and nutrition in school.
Je pense que c'est plutôt culturel. Même si une mère veut apprendre à son enfant à cuisiner, beaucoup de facteurs peuvent la dissuader, surtout si elle habite encore dans les maisons familiales ou carrément c'est son mari qui va lui interdire de le faire. Aussi, l'enfant en question, peut ne vas pas aimer cuisiner, en pensant soit que c'est dégradant ou il n'aime pas tous simplement et pour ce dernier cas, le genre n'a pas trop de signification. Je pense qu'on doit intégrer le module dans nos écoles pour les deux sexes, pour garder leur santé dans le cadre de l'éducation nutritionnelle.

Les femmes notamment d'Afrique de part l'histoire ont assumé en plus des taches ménagères, le travail de la terre avec leur mari . C'est juste durant l'époque préhistorique, les hommes étant plus fort ont assumé la chasse et les femmes de natures plus faibles, de leur côté la cueillette ( fruits, baies , petit animaux,...) et de ce fait la cuisine . Même si les temps ont évolué, les femmes continuent d'assumer les tâches ménagères dont l'éducation de leurs enfants et le travail hors foyers. Le changement intervient avec le développement des sociétés et l'acceptation du rôle d'une femme dans le développement de son pays comme un être humain à part entière. Une fois le changement est accepté, la cuisine devient une tâche comme toute autre qui sera partagé par tous.
I myself am a mediocre chef in my household's cuisine but I suffice. The wonderful female in my habitation is simply better at it.
Actually, Mothers should help them in the beginning. So, after few trying they will prepare their breakfast easily
