I am drop-casting MoS2, ZnO or CuO on an aluminum IDE electrode with a 20 um finger gap, but no conductivity exists. When I tested each aluminum pad of electrode separately with a multimeter, it was conducting.
Edit: Additionally, When I drop casted V2O5 on the same electrode. The current is coming, but it declined close to zero, as shown in the attached image. What may be the reason?
Especially the oxides you mentioned aren't conducting when the material is pure, conductivity is only introduced by defects or dopants (or high temperature for the sake of completion).
So, looks like you did a clean job depositing them.

what is the liquid[1] of your (initial) FRESH, composite paste[2] ?
Also, could you try some additional impedance measurements ?
1. When you tested each aluminum pad of electrode separately with a multimeter, it was (FRESH and ...initially, it was) 'conducting'.
2. Now, it is, nearly, DRY, and it appears as 'out of conductivity range' for this (same, common) multimeter.
Dear Ioannis Samaras, Thanks for your suggestion. I have used DI water and Ethanol as a solvent. I have tested aluminum before and after depositing the material. I think the material is unable to make proper contact with the aluminum. What can be done to make proper contact with aluminum?
If you used semiconductor oxide (nano)particles with low conductivity it is very difficult to do their layer (from a dispersion?) at the electrodes with measurable conductivity. May be sputtering like this work

maybe, just before your drop-casting, you would like to test applying a very fast Aluminum 'pretreatment' (enhancing Al-porosity),for a very short time, Tmax[1,2], (Al-etching, near RT, 25oC).
1. Tmax1 = 10 sec, about, etching with KOH (in DI water, about 0.1M)
or
2. Tmax2 = 3 sec, about, etching with NaOH (in DI water, about 0.1M)
