How can we validate in Ansys fluent ?
We have to validate our CFD tool (FLUENT) for nusselt number calculations but it is giving absurd values. Tried adjusting reference length also but the problem still exists. The validation has to be done on the basis of table given in fundamentals of Heat and mass transfer book by Incropera.

the geometry is a simple annulus with internal diameter 12.5mm, outer diameter 25mm, length 200mm (to achieve fully developed conditions), inlet velocity 0.1m/s (to get the entry length about 50-60mm. The problem is to validate the tool (fluent) for nusselt number as given in Incropera (used from handbook of heat transfer, McGraw Hill).
Nusselt number depends on the heat transfer coefficient , the diameter and the thermal conductivity of the fluid.
but essentially, I think the answer for your inquiry is in the heat transfer coefficient behavior.
