In recent days, among the victims of COVID-19, there are many young people; is there clinical evidence that can explain the reasons?
Can it be linked to the poor observation of the rules on social distancing, failure to adopt protective and sanitizing measures, and high promiscuity behaviors too?

The young became careless as all data about affection of the elderly and people with co-morbidities . Also the young became bored from isolation and alot of them lost their jobs !!
There is no specific age group, everyone is at risk of contracting this pernicious disease in my country. It is a damned virus

One of the biggest mysteries about Covid-19 is why some people who shouldn't really be harmed by it very much at all get really sick, and end up in hospital.
Someone who is elderly or who has certain pre-existing health problems - heart disease or diabetes, for example - is clearly at higher risk. Obesity is also a big disadvantage.
But occasionally we see a young person who is otherwise in good health becoming very ill. Eighteen-year-old Marium Zumeer, for example. It was her first time in a hospital when she was brought in by ambulance, struggling to breathe and with pains in her chest.
She was unable to speak in full sentences, says respiratory consultant Dinesh Saralaya, and was so distressed and agitated that she initially refused non-invasive ventilation with oxygen (CPAP). She might have had to be sedated and intubated in the Intensive Care Unit, but first Dinesh made a video call to Marium's father, Kaiser, a Bradford taxi driver.
"When they told me they were taking her to ICU, I couldn't feel my legs. I thought I was going to collapse, I was so shocked," he says. "I begged them to just try something."
People of all ages can be infected by the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV). Older people, and people with pre-existing medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease) appear to be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill with the virus.
WHO advises people of all ages to take steps to protect themselves from the virus, for example by following good hand hygiene and good respiratory hygiene.

Hypothesis 1: Young people are most exposed. Rationale, in my geographic location, schools have re-opened, but get shut down frequently as COVID-19 cases in schools/universities are discovered.
Hypothesis 2: Perhaps the virus has run out of older targets.
Young adults’ attitudes toward COVID-19 might be vital for their adherence to control measures taken by the government. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a concept has prevailed in the community that youngs are less affected and have a good outcome. Probably this message has made them careless regarding the use of personal protective measures and to follow the social or physical distancing.

The youth are both the most vibrant and active, and the most careless and impetuous.
Because they are not taking much care and expects they have enough resistance power.
Lack of seriousness and unhealthy practice make them more vulnerable.
Despite that the young people are really more active and less adherent to preventive measures, yet, they are not only affected more frequently lately but also presented at higher rate of severe or critical status which was not the same in early pandemic. Such drift to more severe presentation could not be explained in convincing way.
I think they feel 'it won't happen to me'. I used to think like that, but after the years have gone by, I've realised that things have happened to me. So am now much more cautious about things like following COVID-19 safety advice.
Also, I think about my husband's and close friends' safety as well as my own. But years ago, I think I probably lived for myself more.
normally, because most old-age peoples are wise, so they follow the physical distance and take there precaution, while the young don't care
