I am reviewing/reanalyzing prepulse inhibition data that was generated by someone who left my current lab before I was hired and, unfortunately, I have never run PPI experiments. San Diego Instruments' SR Lab system was used for the prepulse inhibition experiments that I am now analyzing. In some of the data files, the time of peak 1 and the amplitude of peak 1 is missing from the majority of trials. For the trials that are missing T Peak 1 and Amp P1 data, the onset is -1. I've read through the manual several times, but still don't understand why these values are missing. Is this because the mouse didn't move at all during those trials? If so, can I assign an Amp P1 of 0 and a T Peak 1 = trial length for the trials missing these values? Thanks!
