Phosphorus in very small concentration can enhance the effect of Boron, as so-called "grain boundary strengthener". In case of Sulphur, I think it is rather an impurity, see the link
Sir, In the alloy of interest INCONEL-625, there's no Boron element present , but there's Carbon added in amounts less than 0.10 wt %. Is Phosphorous enhancing the Carbide formation or Grain boundary segregation of Carbon?
