i just want to ask the action of body immune system against the embryo before and after placenta formation.

After successful ovulation, there is fertilisation. The later involves a series of steps ranging from capacitation, zona penetration & zona block/ cortical reaction. During fertilisation it is the spermatozoa that enters the zona pellucida of the ovum followed by zona block from ovum side, in this way the spermatozoa rather zygote remains enveloped by the ova membrane & by this the maternal immune system does not produce antibodies against the enveloped zygote considering it a maternal part. immune reaction is capsulated with the placenta because immunity is ceased during placentation cause blood placenta barrier works as immunosupressor so as to not reject the formation of new fetus.
