Previously, I have tried testing of nitrate in water. Sometimes I got intense blue color. However this procedure is not repeatable. It is highlighted that when I prepared diphenylamine in sulfuric acid (1 mg/mL) it showed little bit blue color , at that time test showed intense blue color. Please share your experience which would be highly appreciable.
