Any country wants to take care and have concern in its people health, the cost of healthcare would be high. This ncludes United States and all other countries do the same.

We live,at present, in a materialistic capitalist world in which success is measured by making profits & increasing these profits.It is sad that the human suffering due to various diseases is utilized in a wrong manner. Look around & you will see hospitals turning into businesses, pharmaceutical industries becoming huge profits makers, and even a number of medical doctors buying lands & buildings. Humans are not under mercy when they are at their lowest point of weakness when they are ill.

Dear @Satyabrata, as I left USA more than 30 years ago after my studies, I am not aware of high healthcare cost, but such cost was high also then. As I am not an expert in the field, I have tried to get you a good answer from good resources.
