I know there are some simulators available, but which has the best accuracy, i.e. great correlation with HDL results?

Noxim is a good and easy to learn ,developing language is systemc.
but if you have to work with memory and cache in NOC you should to work with Gem5 simulator.
This is a very broad question. Different NoCs offer their own simulators, this is the case with academic NoCs in general. Some tools do allow for architecture exploration, i.e., support multiple NoC models/routers/topologies/etc.

Hi Satyabrata, there are several aspects for a good NoC Simulator. Whether this is cycle accurate or discrete event driven. Whether it can handle only synthetic workloads or real time workloads. You may want to go through the following paper for other detailed aspects.

I am also using Noxim simulator but I am new with it and don't understand using .so if someone help me for the performance of noc in term of latency and throughput with varying Number of virtual channels .
