Stephen Hawking is not only a great theoretical physicist, but also a personality which is  very popular on TV. I'm wondering who  is now more recognizable nowadays among the youth: Albert Einstein or Stephen Hawking?

Stephan Hawking is not th eonly 'deserving' scientist who has not got the Nobel prize yet. Every year when the award is annouced, one hears about the people in the very same field who contributed quite a bit who got left out (because of the 3 people rule or whate ever) And then tehre are fields that have not been awarded any prize at all. 

Dear Abrar, I second your opinion. Dear Dr. Rajalakshmi, I see your opinion. But, as you know he is a well known physicist. What  might be the reason? Few people say, his predictions lack sufficient experimental data and all.

Yes, I think Stephen Hawking deserves the Nobel Prize. Stephen Hawking is the former Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, and he is one of the greates physicist in the world.

I really wonder why the brilliant Stephen Hawking is not awarded the Noble Prize yet.

I do not like that he is a superstar of the media, and I do not know if the fame is due to medial or to important work he have done. Thus I cannot take any position!

Hawking probably deserve a Nobel prize for his singularity theorem! I am his great fun!
