Why some of the text displayed under the headings "CLAIMS" in Google Patents search are dull (light fonts) while rest of the text is normal?
Perhaps not happening with every result. But many have similar display pattern.

They're distinguishing the dependent claims (in grey) from the independent claims (in black).
You can copy and paste from all; it's just a convenience for patent professionals, who sometimes need to focus on just the independent claims.

Dependent claims develop an independent claim. An independent claim defines the "simplest" embodiment of the invention to achieve the desired effect of the invention. The dependent claims further develop this embodiment and may define the so-called preferred embodiment. It can not be said that dependent claims are more important. In order to determine the scope of protection resulting from the patent, the independent claim is independently analyzed, and subsequently the definition of the independent claim is added to the independent claim. If you have more independent claims in the application, it means that you claim a more category of invention, for example a nanoparticle manufacturing device and a nanoparticle manufacturing process. Google will show you in a clear way how many of the categories of the invention an application or patent contains.
