When BSC is added on the standards (Hippuric Acid and pyridine), formation of yellow-colored complex is observed with increasing intensity as the concentration of Hippuric acid is increased. However, we noticed that no peak is evident at suggested wavelength (410 nm). Also, we observed that bubbles form on the sides and bottom of a 96-well plate when BSC is added which might be causing the interference in the spectra. What could be the potential solutions to this problem?
