Sucrose consists of a glucose and a fructose that held together with a glycosidic bond. Recently I checked the sucrose solution and find that sucrose has a fluorescence spectra.
But I don't know the reason of this behaviorfor. can anyone help me?
Check https://www.researchgate.net/publication/223957737_A_novel_fluorescent_assay_for_sucrose_transporters
Also check https://plantmethods.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1746-4811-8-13
This is because of their high sensitivity, ease of utilization, and improved resolution over methods employing autoradiography.

Thank you.
But the article is not about sucrose. It is about a transporter protein.
