I am currently having issues with ecadherin not staining LNCaP (human prostate cancer) spheroids. I have been using a protocol that has previously worked using primary antibody Anti-E Cadherin antibody [DECMA-1] (ab11512).
Secondary antibody is DnK pAb to Rat IgG Alexa fluor 594.
Any thoughts about why I am not getting positive stain?
Could anyone please help
Do your cells definitely express E Cadherin? And do other antibodies work using the same protocol?

Howard thanks for your questions and interest- yes lncap cells do express e-cadherin. I am planning to look for other markers that are expressed by lncap cells. Do you know of any?
