Why does Arlequin give results in two digits, instead of five digits as it usually does? In the same database, other loci calculations are expressed with five digits (i.e. 0.02513) but for one pair of loci, it only returns two digits (i.e. 0.01). Do you have any ideas on what is going on?
I don't know the answer, but it looks like nobody is answering.
Is it possible that the answer is so close to 0.01 that rounding make that the best answer? That is, are there any values that are 0.0n000?
Also you could copy the dataset and change one genotype away from its original value to test.
Apparently, it is a matter of compatibility between versions of the input software (Excel). We are re-entering manually all data in a newer version of Excel and so far we have not experienced that problem again.
