Why do we get much lower titers of AAV6 relative to AAV9?

We use the same backbone and helper plasmid for both, and the only difference is the Rep-cap plasmid 2/6 vs 2/9 from addgene. We titer by qPCR with a standard curve.

Is this a known phenomenon and can we do something to increase the AAV6 titers?
