Dear authors,
In many instances, after submitting a paper to a journal, we experience a rejection immediately (desk reject), or after some days of the submission. The editor/associate editor rejects the paper saying that the paper is out of the journal's scope. Of course, most of the time, we refer the similar articles before making a submission decision. Then, my curiosity grows on making such decision.
Hope editors and authors on Researchgate can answer my queries.

I had also experienced the same issue in past and I feel that there are some chances of biased behaviour by editors due to any reason.
It may also happen if editor receives too much number of articles to review and filter.
