Why do I have Non-specific EdU- ClickIt binding?

I used to do EdU + ClickIt staining regularly.

2 months ago it stopped working.

Specifically, in FACS, all of the cells are positive every time, despite my changing the cell type and all of the reagents!

I believe that the fluorophore has started binding non-specifically, but I have no idea how this makes sense!

Does anyone have any suggestions?
