It is well known that when you plot 2D figure you have to convert 3D value of resistance and it will have value in Ohm-um if you ignore z-dimension. In 3D plot you will represent with Ohm only.
For a good planar contact, resistance became independent on contact dimension along the current flow, because most current flow concentrated at some microns near the edge, and the contact extension in this direction gives lesser effect. However the lateral contact dimension across the current indeed contribute to contact resistance, because the strip conductivity is proportional to it.
