I'm looking for the factors which have an impact on the quality of blood or blood cells, like WBCs/PBMCs. For example, I know that after blood draw, granulocytes may cause oxidative stress and that may affect the viability of WBCs. What else could have an effect on blood samples that we can't store them for a long time at room temperature? Thank you.

It depends on what you consider a long time and which components you might be interested in. Whole-Blood can be stored on proper containers for up to 24h at around 22ºC without major deterioration to most components.
Above that time, it will deteriorate significantly. That's why lower temperatures are frequently looked for. They prevent, among others, the glycolytic activity and eventual bacterial growth.

There may be many factors influencing overall blood quality at RT once drawn and leave at RT.
1) Temperature that allows cell metabolism within the drawn blood, resulting in acidic condition.
2) Transport conditions that maintain buffering actions of the blood using H+ ion, CO2, H2O and HCO3-. They are not continuously supplied any more, losing its stability as a preserving fluid for blood cells.
3) Oxygen gas.
4) pH of the fluid in an isolated closed system in a tube.
5) Release of lysosomal enzymes from dying or dead or broken cells, deteriorating cell viability.
6) Other hydrolysing enzymes activated by the fluidal components.
7) Cell movement in the tube that is totally different from the sheering forces generated by heart beating and the other contractions, etc.
