Are we after changes in education because of trends, people change, cultural change, or technology changes? Is it the available evidence that controls the decision to change, or is it the desire for the change, the sociological thinking, or the desire to follow what others are doing?

What is your view? Is your school after the change because of what others are doing? Or are there a clear rationale for such moves?
