Why are the teams and the old schools of football coming out of the World Cup 2028?
Because of excessive self-confidence and poor planning
The unpredictability of results of sporting competitions accounts for a large part of the fascination of sport. In recent decades, for example, young football players from developing countries in Africa have become important, they run faster than their colleagues in Europe, and they are accepted everywhere, in countries they can choose, even as citizens. Belgium, France, also Germany and Switzerland benefit to a certain extent from this. But traditions also play a role. The USA hardly have a chance to become world champions, Soccer is not as popular as other sports. So, many factors come together, and we don't know whether the juxtaposition of "old" and "young" footballing nations makes sense and is correct at all.
Over confidence, poor planning, over expectations, and may be lack of the required practices are the reasons.
The old teams stop growing and full of confidence while the young teams learn and improve everyday. The introduction of VAR also helps to minimize the deceit of big teams.
