I would like to conduct an elliptic Fourier analysis with Bookstein normalization based on shapes captured in tpsDig. As I understand this method rely on two (or several) landmarks and the capture of an outline. I’m not sure how to perform this in tpsDig.
Shall I use ‘Digitize Landmarks’ tool and then ‘Outline object’?
Then I import the data to Morpheus et al and just run the ‘BSC – Bookstein shape coordinates’? I need to export the data so I can run the statistics in PAST or NTSYS, but I get an error message that program cannot deal with both landmarks and outline in the same file. So I guess something goes wrong?
Anyone how know a protocol for this?
