I ask because most of them changes its expression under physical exercise. I checked it for HPRT 2 cycles of change , ACTB much more, GAPDH much more. Of how to treat articles when e.g. these genes are as housekeeping?
I am not sure if I understand the question but it seems to be about supposed "housekeeping" genes whose expression is affected by the manipulation/treatment you apply. If so, that is not uncommon. The appropriate housekeeping genes will vary from tissue to tissue and from treatment to treatment. Whenever I am studying a new manipulation/treatment, I spend time determining the best housekeeping gene (or set of housekeeping genes). Several companies make gene expression arrays for putative housekeeping genes (e.g., SABiosciences.com). You run your manipulated/treated samples on these qPCR arrays and then apply NormFinder (or similar) software to the results to determine the the best housekeeping gene (or set of housekeeping genes). You are then ready to run qPCR on your genes of interest.
