Who do some researchers use hot lysis buffer instead of RIPA lysis buffer?

Why some researchers use Hot lysis buffer instead of RIPA lysis( with sonication ) ? did the Hot lysis can extract more efficiently nuclear and chromatin bounded proteins?

You denature the Cells by heating there for you get a better lysis and coole (e.g. chromatin ) disruption. But it abolishes analysis by IP or cell fractionation
