Who do you think are the happiest & unhappiest peoples in this complex world of humans? The homeless, poor people? The trillionaires, billionaires, rich entrepreneurs? The working class, middle class people? The inventors, scientist, creators, etc.? The military, public servants, leaders, etc.? And others? Explain your choice of answer.
"Others" are most happy in the world. We can find that each individual human being is not happy. We see that others are more happy than us. We find the life and happiness of others as more interesting. Hardly one is happy with self or the current position. Every one wants to grow more and fast than others. Thus, this is the class of others who are more happy in the world.
My answer is: The homeless, poor people are the happiest people in this complex world of human societies. Explaining my answer: On my way home after a busy hectic teaching day, I took the public bus transportation in going home. I happened to sit next to a retired military veteran officer. I struck a conversation with him regarding the homeless community in the City of San Francisco, CA. According to him, when he came back home from his military service, he found an empty house upon his return. He decided to sell his house/assets and joined the homeless people community in San Francisco. He said, his decision was the happiest and most honest decision he ever made in his life because he found a real genuine loving homeless family who truly cared, love, respect, etc. him without expecting anything in return. The moral lesson of this real life story is: Don't ever judge anybody by their external or physical appearances.
I shall reflect upon the nature of happiness as it pertains to the human condition, drawing from both my studies in philosophy and my experiences as educator.
True happiness, I posit, Zoncita D. Norman is not merely a function of one’s material wealth or social status. Rather, it arises from the harmony of one’s soul, the pursuit of wisdom, and fulfillment of one’s purpose within the framework of the divine order. As I have taught in my writings, happiness is an intellectual and spiritual state.
The happiest individuals may, in fact, not align with conventional metrics of success. While the wealthy may experience transient joy in their possessions, they often confront challenges uncommon to those leading simpler lives, such as dissatisfaction, fear of loss, and the estrangement that wealth can bring.
Conversely, many among the less fortunate—such as the homeless or poor—may cultivate a profound sense of community, resilience, and gratitude for the little they possess. In such lives, joy may stem from connections with others, the appreciation of simple blessings, and a spirit of endurance against adversity.
Similarly, those engaged in creative or scientific pursuits—whether inventors, artists, or scholars—derive happiness from the exercise of their intellect and creativity, from contributing to the greater good and fostering progress. These endeavors, imbued with passion and purpose, yield a sense of fulfillment that transcends material gain.
Only people happy are insane, memoryless senseless.
As such with Wars and climate issues people with any thoughtful minds cannot be happy.

The Complex Road to Happiness: The Influence of Human Development, a Healthy Environment and a Free Press

[Abstract
Happiness is considered one of the goals of individuals and nations. Thus, many interdisciplinary efforts have attempted to determine the factors that lead to happiness. However, most of these efforts have ignored some important but less tangible factors, such as having a free press and a healthy environment. In this study, we argue that press freedom—a measure of social capital—along with human and built capital, and natural capital, predicts levels of life satisfaction across nations. Using data from 161 countries, our study provides empirical support to our theoretical model that forms of capital do not influence life satisfaction separately but are actually situated in a web of interrelationships. This is consistent with the assumptions that the road to happiness is not direct. It is a complex path where different forms of capital influence one another before leading to a happy life.]
Why I am not happy? I see that others are more happy than me. They live life in more efficient way than me. They seem to enjoy more and cheer more. I dont know about their per month income but I see that they are happy. Few times I wish I would have been at their place. But in reality I see that nothing can be done. I again try to be happy but its not possible. Actually I see hapiness more in richer class. When I see people lower than my class, i see that I am more happy than them. Further, i do not have time to analyze that do they see me and think that they are more happy than me. Its impossible to analyze. So the answer comes here. Every individual is happy with the self. Its satisfaction which makes one happy. Its not the standard of living which affects or attracts us, but its the vision in our eyes which needs to look at both negative and positive aspects. Yes, I am happy with myself but when I am satisfied and in no tendency to compare and analyze. Yes, each individual has right to grow and be happy.
The happiest people are those who feel safe, supported, and connected, not necessarily the richest. Countries like Finland and Denmark top happiness rankings due to trust, social support, and work-life balance.
The unhappiest are often in conflict zones or unstable regions like Afghanistan, where insecurity and lack of basic needs dominate.
Even in wealthy nations, high stress and weak social bonds can lower happiness. Ultimately, strong relationships, freedom, and a sense of purpose matter more than money.
