suggests you to repeat this experiment. Comments to your question. If nanoparticles are dissolved, they are no longer nanoparcles. Nanoparticles can be dispersed in a solvent. "Nanoparticles in distilled water at 1:1 ratio." What!? Please, explain.

And to answer your question regarding 1:1 ratio. it means that i have synthesized copper oxide nanoparticles using copper salt precursor through precipitation method and powder form nanoparticles was obtained. later when i wanted to check UV spectroscopy i dissolved 1mg of copper oxide nanoparticles in 1 ml of distilled water (As a solvent) to run in UV spectroscopy which provided me with the above results.

Check the setting of your device. This artifact is most probably due to changing the lamp from UV to Visible wavelengths.
This is an artifact of measurements during the transition from the UV region to the visible light region, due to the switching of lamps
By the way, this method usually used for solutions without particles, because the presence of particles lead to noize on the curve
