While doing Analysis of Saccharides in Fruit Juice Drinks, should LC or LCMS be used in this experiment?

I am currently doing a school project on Analysis of Saccharides in Fruit Juice Drinks, and I have to choose a method either LC or LCMS. After reading several articles and journals, my team realised that both LC and LCMS can be used, however most people used LC. What are the advantages and disadvantages between these two method for this particular analysis?
