Promoting and evaluating waste prevention activities at household level are critical and mostly invisible. We know prevention is the best way to tackle the waste problems, but one of the main challenges is to measure the amount of prevented waste from the systems. How one can measure something that is not there? (Zorpas and Lasaridi, 2013)
