I suggest you RNA viruses, specially Flaviviruses [Flaviviridae family]. This family of virus is very interesting and includes emerging and re-emerging viruses, such as Dengue, Zika etc..

Do you think RNA virus is better than DNA virus because of higher mutation rate? (more dangerous?)

I am also considering HPV, HBV, HCV, and other cancer causing virus. What do you guys think? Good target or too well studied?

I think that it will be Family of Herpes viruses, especially Cytomegalovirus & Herpes Simplex Viruses, because the mass of evidence is growing on their key role in chronic inflammation, malignization and degenerative (Alzheimer disease, etc) signaling pathways.
