In my study 20 animals, right limb i created defect. After 1 month I divided that into 2 groups based on removal group A (n=10) removed by novice surgeon, group B (n=10) removed by experienced surgeon and similarly contralateral limb un-operated removed by novice surgeon (n=10) as group A* and contralateral limb (not-operated) removed by experienced surgeon as group B* (n=10). So kindly suggest me which statistical test would be appropriate for parametric and non-parametric data
@vineet kumar, Objective of study is to compare difference in sample removal between novice and experienced surgeon. So I selected operative group and divided into two, further contralateral limb serve as seperate control for respective removal. Parameters ( both qualitative and quantitative data) collected at single time. So which test i have to proceed. Is there possibility to compare all in single paper or i need to do defect (novice vs experienced) and control(novice vs experienced) seperately. Kindly suggest me some ideas sir
You can decide to compare everything instead of seperating the defect from the control. With that you will use Analysis of Variance(ANOVA). But if you decide to compare the control seperately from the defect, then you will need to use a T test.
