I've got 2 samples/groups of a single indipendent normal distributed variable. I need to test if there's a significant difference between the two groups. I also know the variance and the standard deviation.

t-test and ANOVA will give you same results as you are considering only one independent variable and just two levels. You will get the same alpha value from either test
Sure, t.test, because you have two groups. One way ANOVA is used when you have more than two groups. More specifically, you need independent samples t.test.

If the sample size is large enough (>30) you should go for z-test. However, the t-test is conducted with less than 30 samples. ANOVA is generally performed for comparison of more than two groups.

I agree that the t-test would be appropriate. I also agree with Sanjoy that for samples larger than 30 a z-test might be used.
