On cannulated arterioles, I perform dilation curves with and without inhibitors. To compare a control curve to the inhibitor curve, I usually run a repeated measures ANOVA and look for overall effects.
Previously, I have only performed this in females, now we are examining males, too. I cannot simply compare the inhibitor curves from male and female, because that fails to account for the change from the control. How can i compare the difference between curves between male and females, in order to see the difference in affect the inhibitor has?

you could also consider a modelling approach via mixed effects modelling, did you already try something like this? This would providea lot of flexibility concerning the questions you want to address.
To follow up Kathrin do what she says and and add a dummy variable for sex to see if there's a difference between male and female. Best wishes David Booth
