I need to dissolve around 15 compounds to use as standards for some GC-FID analysis that I will be doing on plant VOCs. I am purchasing the following compounds, and of course appreciate that I may well need to use more than one solvent (although it would be fantastic if I could just use 1!) ; Isoamyl acetate
(E)-2-Hexenal (Reference)
(Z)-β-Ocimene
2-Methylbutyraldoxime (E:Z, 3:1)
3-Methylbutyraldoxime (E:Z, 2:1)
(Z)-3-Hexenyl acetate
(Z)-3-Hexenol
(E)-DMNT
Salicylaldehyde
(R)-()-Linalool
Benzyl cyanide
(E)-β-Caryophyllene
(E,E)-α-Farnesene
Borneol
It would be really, really helpful if you could suggest some literature that I could look at, if at all possible.
It would also be really helpful if you could bear in mind that I would prefer to use solvents that are as far away from the carbon number/structure of my compounds of interest whilst still being miscible with said compounds (of course!).

I would try to use acetone (check their solubility). Remember to perform blank analysis of the solvent. Are you planning to use GC technique?
Check my papers on VOCs determ. in several types of real samples.

Is there a particular reason as to why you are recommending acetone?

It is effective to solve many hydrophilic and hydrophobic compounds :)
