Which solvent is used Dilute DMSO for performing Q-PCR?

I am getting 2 bands for my desired gene to amplify and therefore i wanted to avoid the dimer formation by using DMSO. I have got 100% concentration of DMSO while i need to make 5%. Therefore i wanted to know which solvent should i use to dilute the DMSO for performing Q-PCR.

Hi Migmar,

You can use water for diluting your solution , DMSO is soluble in water.Good Luck.
