but, the liquid forms often use excipients known to have a recognized action or effect (i.e. ethanol and propylene glycol). Moreover, the solubility of resveratrol in these solvents are far from optimized.

I will prepare stock solution as follow;
100 mg resveratrol + 2ML ethanol (200 un/2000uL)
afterward for a rat (i.e. 200 g wight- 10mg/kg resveratrol) i need 2mg resveratrol (40 uL of stock solution) . If i dilute the volume (40 uL) into 460 uL of distilled water or saline the final percentage of organic solvent (ethanol) will be 8.69 %!!! I can not inject more than 500 uL volume for each rat.

50 mg of Resveratrol (powder) can be dissolved in 1 ml absolute ethanol.
Keep it in freezing temperature at dark condition for one month (stock solution).
Soluble in water (3 mg/100mL), ethanol (50 mg/mL), DMSO (16 mg/mL), DMF (~65 mg/mL), PBS (pH 7.2) (~100-181mg/mL), methanol, and acetone (50 mg/mL)
