which software is good to analyse d-spacing in TEM ??
I would recommend DigitalMicrograph by Gatan (Downlod at: http://www.gatan.com/products/tem-analysis/gatan-microscopy-suite-software)
You can easily measure distances of diffraction spots in diffraction patterns or FFTs (fast fourier trasnformations) applied to HRTEM images.
thank you so much!!
can we calculate particle size also from this software?
because i am using Image j and I didn't find inter-planner distance measurement in image j program.
I don't understand what you want to measure, interplanar spacing or particle size? What are you investigating exactly?
both i want to measure.
Then I think you should use ImageJ for the measurement of the particle size distribution and DigitalMicrograph for the measurement of the interplanar spacing.
What should a Mechanical Engineering PhD scholar focus on during their PhD to enhance their chances of securing a postdoctoral position?
