I want to increase silica nano fluid stability by adding SDS surfactant. PH of nano fluid solution is about 6.5 and silica nano particles disperse in saline water. now after adding the surfactant to nano fluid solution, which side of SDS surfactant can attract on silica nano fluid surface?

I believe that SDS has a very low efficiency to be attached to silica particles. That is possibly similar to flotation collectors. SDS I commonly use for Barium, etc. But Silica particles can be floated with amines (used in reverse flotation). - Maybe that gives you another aspect?
